🐟 LACHSERSATZ-SCHNITTCHEN [ Ein fischiges Poem der Liebe ] 🐟 - © Jörg Ulrich Helgert | JUH

Oh Lydia, geliebter Schatz!
An Deiner Seite ist mein Platz,
denn drück ich Dir 'nen Wangenschmatz,
schmierst Du mir Brot mit Lachsersatz.

Früh morgens und zur späten Nacht
hast Du die Schnittchen schon gemacht.
Wir lieben uns, sind nie verkracht -
das hat der Lachsersatz vollbracht.

Ich bin Dein Mann, Du meine Frau,
und beide wissen wir's genau:
Die Liebe wird uns niemals flau,
solang ich Lachsersatz verdau.

Snowy Owls in Michigan! - FeatherWindStudio

I was apprehensive about going for Snowies today due to rain, fog and lighting conditions, but thought "a wet owl would be interesting." So I headed out thinking of nothing more than raindrops on it's feathers. Little did I know "wet owl" would have brand new meaning, as this one was totally submerged floating/swimming near the dock. After several minutes, it took off like a canon out of water (without a meal) and started the hunt all over again.
